Después de Boca, el mejor equipo latino es el Sao Paulo, decimosegundo con 1.909 puntos, River Plate (19 y 1.666), Cruzeiro (23 y 1.592), Santos (26 y 1.539) y Nacional (36 y 1.437).
Según la lista de IFFHS, federación fundada en 1984 en Leipzig y que elabora su ránking mundial con los resultados de los equipos desde 1991, los 100 mejores comprenden 68 clubes de Europa, 26 de Sudamérica, 4 de la CONCACAF y 2 de África.
El primer equipo de la CONCACAF que aparece en el ránking es el América de México, en el puesto 65 con 1.253 puntos, seguido del Deportivo Guadalajara (80 y 1.109,5), Cruz Azul de Ciudad de México (90 y 1.061,5) y Pachuca (97 y 1.032).
Entre otros clasificados de esta confederación, se encuentran el Saprissa (138 y 902,5), Municipal Guatemala (161 y 830), Olimpia Tegucigalpa (184 y 772), Liga Deportiva Alajuelense (191 y 759,5), Deportivo Santa Ana (317 y 559,5), Los Ángeles Galaxia (40 0 y 488), Real Estelí (445 y 464,5) y Tauro Panama-City (483 y 441).
